[MUSICA BAROCCA] - Manoscritto "Cantate per musica di diversi autori" - 1714. A musical manuscript in a beautiful binding and excellent condition containing 19 baroque cantatas, alto solo and canto solo, by various authors including some famous composers of the period: Ariosti, Attilio (1666-1729); Giuseppe Bettini; Caldara, Antonio (1670-1736); Conti, Francesco (c.1681-1732); Giovanni Maria Peroni; Leporati, Stefano; Mancini Francesco (1672-1737). 4to oblungo (205 x 290mm). Watercoloured armorial arms at the opening bearing the motto "Post Otia Virtus", followed by an allegorical scene drawn with Cupid holding a festoon with the title "Cantate per musica di diversi autori" over a table covered with musical instruments; two index pages, 110 leaves with musical notation and manuscript cantatas. Contemporary calf with gilt decorations on spine, gilt floral border with gilt medallions at the center of the plates, golden edges. For this lot, on 20 September, the Soprintenza issued a declaration of cultural interest
