Morgue cover by Joe Maneely. Maneely was Stan Lee's friend and frequent collaborator during the pre-Code years. After the Code killed horror comics and times were lean, Maneely got drunk and died under the wheels of a commuter train. According to Lambiek.net, "Though sometimes rumored to be a suicide, friends and colleagues agreed that it was most likely an accident."
