A Night on Earth in Scotland is a limited edition Macallan whiskey referring to the Hogmanay holiday, celebrated every year on December 31 in Scotland. Whiskey reflects the joy of celebrating the change of the year and the opportunity to meet loved ones. The whiskey has been matured in selected American and European oak sherry casks as well as in American ex-bourbon casks to ensure a rich and sweet character. The tempting aroma includes vanilla, baked apples, biscuits, plums and almonds. On the palate, the delicate and velvety sweetness combines with vanilla, slightly toasted marshmallow, dried oranges, figs and cinnamon, to gently go into the finish with tangible notes of toffee and freshly baked biscuits. The 2022 edition is bottled at 43%.
