The Macallan distillery, originally from Speyside in Scotland, has grown from a small local business to an internationally renowned distillery. It is renowned for producing whiskies of intense flavour and natural colour, such as Rare Cask. \r

This mahogany-coloured whisky is distilled in small copper stills. Once distilled, it is transferred to European and American sherry casks, hand-selected by the distillery's team of experts. Some of these casks even come from cellars and coopers that no longer exist, adding a historical dimension to this single malt. \r

On the nose, there's a sweet aroma of vanilla and grapes, which gives way to a subtle combination of orange, lemon and apple, against a background of oak. The palate is a journey of vanilla and chocolate, followed by a light citrus note on the finish. \r
