Madame Bovary
By Flaubert, G.
Beautifully, full-leather bound with gilt edging in two volumes; encased in a clam shell with separator to preclude the volumes from rubbing one another. Books are clean and tight with gilt top edges; covers of both volumes have some minor staining, but internal pages are bright and clean. An extremely attractive copy in a very nice-looking case which will protect these treasures for many lifetimes. V. 1 dedicated to Senart, rather than "Senard" of later printings.
