Madeleine Caudel Paris, Île-de-France 1879-1962 French woman landscapepainter and member of the Société du Salon des Artistes Français. She lived and worked in France but travelled to the Netherlands at the end of the 19th Century. In Paris, she lived in the 17th arrondissement at 75, Nollet Street. In 1926 she exibited at the Salon des Indépendants and in 1934 at Mon Club together with Vera Rockline and others. Wonderful impressionistic Dutch summerlandcape with canal, small boat, flowering chesnuttree in front of a house an a small churchtower in the distance. Lovely condition with original bkack frame (small piece is missing) but can be restored.
