Dutch master of the eighteenth century, Ships in a storm and a view of the harbor, oil on canvas, dimensions 74 x 93. 5 cm. Large and refined marina with stormy ships, typical of 17th and 18th century Dutch production. The walnut-colored wooden frame, natural wax finish is supplied as a gift. State of conservation. The work is in excellent condition, the pictorial surface is intact and perfectly consistent with the support. The work has undergone a cleaning and a superficial restoration aimed at making the crack lighter, but the original pictorial surface is entirely preserved underneath. The whites are extremely vivid and bright and the paint retains all its strength. Work with Certificate of Authenticity and Legitimate Origin.
