A magnificent 23 piece Coalport Feltspar England porcelain dessert set for 16, circa 1825. Beautiful hand painted floral bouquets to the center with gilt foliate scrolls around the relief rim. 15 plates, 2 tazzas, 2 compotes, and a 3 tiered cake stand with a red/orangecoalport feldspar mark. One plate with impressed mark, one cake stand and one compote apparently unmarked. All in a matching pattern. Condition Report: Great overall age related condition. Plates with small variation to the thickness of relief on the border and amount of gold decoration. Most plates with stacking wear gold loss to the inner area (The photos include two dessert plates- 1 with the most gilt and the other with the most gilt loss). Minor utensil marks to the center with 2 plates having fine crazing throughout one compote with crazing to the underside with associated staining. One tazza with a chip to the sockle with associated hairline and minor crazing/staining. One cake stand with a hairline to the stem.
