Magnificent vintage framed, hand painted enamel Plaque

Magnificent vintage framed, hand painted enamel Plaque, circa mid 20th century, artist signed lower right R. Restoueix / Limoges. This gorgeous framed plaque was hand painted by the much loved artist R. Restoueix who worked for the Limoges factory in the 1950s. His work is highly collected for its fineness in replicating master paintings on Limoges enamel. The enamel piece on which the scene is painted has a rectangular convex shape which adds to the richness and depth of the painting. The thick glaze brings out the colors. Plaque is in its original beautiful wooden and gilded frame that measures 13" tall x 15 1/4" wide. Enamel Plaque itself measures approximately 8" x 10".
