Maitland Smith Penshell Brass Vintage Pear Box

An oversized pear shaped box attributed to Maitland Smith. A sculptural container carved of wood, covered a rich brown penshell and accented with a brass stem lid handle. A rare form of box made in the Philippines. No apparent maker marks, therefore, being sold as attributed to Maitland Smith.

Dimensions: 10 X 7.5 X 7.5 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear. Small chips usage marks under the lid. Estate fresh to the market.
