Makah Nootka Basket, Birds & Fish + Inuit Basket
Two woven baskets. Comprised of a small Makah Nootka lidded basket, c.1890s-1930. Globular tapering form, polychrome decorated with three birds and a fish among a geometric motif, woven plaited base. Measures 2.75" high, 3" diameter at the widest point on the body. Together with a small Inuit knob top coiled basket (very tightly coiled), 3" high, 2.5" diameter.
