1877 pair of envelopes from Singapore to London, respectively endorsed â via Brindisiâ (MY 12) and â Via Marseillesâ (MY 19), the former franked at 16c by 1867-72 8c pair, the latter franked by 1867-72 12c, all tied by good to fine strikes of â B-172â octagons with red despatch cds alongside and London arrival backstamps of JU 18 and JU 19; slight envelope faults nevertheless an interesting pair of covers illustrating the main mail routes to England.
