Condition Report:
Please note the colors and shades in the online catalogue illustration may vary depending on screen settings.

This early print, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen is in generally excellent condition. A lush patina of age-appropriate silvering is visible in the darkest areas along the edges of the print. Visible under raking light are the following: several small scuffs that do not appear to break the emulsion in the lower corners; a tiny deposit of old retouching in the center of the image; and a pen-point-sized loss of emulsion in the lower right quadrant, to the right of the object. There is minor wear to the tip of the lower left corner. On the reverse, 'RMG#183.13' is written in pencil in an unidentified hand.

The photograph is tipped along its upper edge to a thick black mount. On the reverse of the black mount, 'Surface à courbure constante négative d'Enneper, dérivée de la pseudo-sphère' is written in ink in an unidentified hand.

When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
