Allen stars in the film, together with Dianne Keaton, Michael Murphy, Mariel Hemingway, Meryl Streep and Anne Byrne. Allen plays a twice-divorced comedy writer, who dates a young girl and then falls in love with the mistress of his best friend. All very complicated. The film was shot in black-and-white and features music by George Gershwin, including Rhapsody in Blue.
