Manhattan Firearms "Sheriff's Model" Revolver
Rare "Sheriff's Model" variation/alteration of Manhattan Firearm's Navy Revolver that was produced during the Civil War era (circa. 1858-1864). This example has a 2 1/2 inch barrel, ideal for quick-draw close encounters. It's unclear if this was factory produced by special order or altered by the owner.
Majority of the cylinder scene is evident and all of the serial numbers match. The gun is mechanically functional, though occasionally the cylinder becomes misaligned.
[Civil War, Union, Confederate, Pistol, Colt, Antique Firearm]
