Illustration: Manik Prahbu Maharaj (1817-1865) was a Hindu saint and guru whose philosophies, known as the Sakalamata Siddhanta, advocated the unity of all religions. He had both Hindi and Muslim devotees and his teachings were copied in Marathi, Kannada, Hindi, Urdi and Sanskrit.
