Manju netsuke - Elephant ivory - Japan - Meiji period (1868-1912)

Fine netsuke-manju finely decorated with plant and animal motifs. In very good overall condition, with signs of wear and veining of the ivory consistent with its age and use, Japanese object from the Meiji period. The item was made prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations regarding the sale of ivory.
