inscribed: NERO. CLAVD [...] / CAESAR. VI.
7.5 by 5.8cm., 3 by 2¼in.
Condition Report:
There are areas of loss to the enamel at the top, as well as a minor loss to the copper at the top edge. Otherwise the condition is good, with minor surface dirt and wear consistent with age. A small hole at the bottom.
Provenance:
There is a possibilty that the present lot entered the family through William Adam (1689–1748);
Thence by descent.
