Mantel clock - Gilt bronze - Late 19th century

Beautiful gold bronze clock that stands out for both its beauty and the quality of its machinery. Paris 8-day machinery, numbered but without stamp and with a working bell sound at hours and half hours. The square-shaped box stands on a beautiful stepped base with 6 legs. Two chamfers break the square design of the ornate structure with two ram heads on top and floral motifs. On the sides of the box hang flower bouquets attached with decorative bows. The sphere is protected by a bevelled glass bezel; It is white porcelain with beautiful Roman numbers enameled in blue and Arabic on the outside for minutes. Under the sphere, the box is decorated with branches and torches collected with bows and in its upper part a large bow. The upper part of the clock has a lot of height and elegance thanks to the piece that crowns it: a vase with garland and a top pineapple finish. It conserves a high percentage of gold colour on the gold.
