Beautiful Schmid Neuchâteloise clock.
These quality clocks were manufactured in Germany under the brand name Schmid and are derived from the famous Neuchâteloise clocks from Switzerland. A typical model clock with a very decorative design, with a burgundy red wooden, large model, case with hand-painted floral motifs and polychrome accents in gold leaf.
The cabinet has a large door with a sound hole at the back and a hinged glass holder at the front. Beautiful convex glass provides a view of the dial. The time is displayed by beautiful hands and Roman numerals. Very beautiful and good clock in authentic condition.
Movement: Solid eight-day pendulum clock with hand winding, original key is included, and the striking mechanism alternately indicates the half and full hour on 2 bells. Timepiece with manufacturer's signature.
Beautiful, intact convex dial with signature and original brass hands.
Clock is in good running condition. Comes with winding key.
