The damping is formed by a simulated urn with detached handles and set in seed, the movement is supported by two pilasters punctuated with foliage, quivers and crowns, and decorated with two oval medallions in bisque called "Wedgwood".

Below the movement are two intersecting thyrsos and vine garlands framing a Wedgwood medallion. The quadrangular base with rosette beads rests on gilded bronze spinning top feet.
