Mantis is an alien 3D dance piece inspired by the surrealist poetics of artist Salvador Dali and the aesthetics of the Praying Mantis insect, both in its body morphology and in the mechanics and dynamics of its movements. The creation was carried out based on research into the mixture of dance language with animation and 3D simulation techniques.

MANTIS was created by artist Diego Mac, who has stood out at the forefront of contemporary art by dedicating himself to research and fusing the language of dance with animation and 3D simulation techniques, in addition to exploring the possibilities of NFTs, blockchains and metaverses.
