Quarto-format 'diploma di laurea' manuscript on parchment in Latin in gold and brown ink, conferring a degree from the Roman Gymnasio Publico in the Sant' Eustachio precinct under Clement IX on Tadeus Aloysius; consisting of 4 leaves; with signatures of instructors Nicolaus Severolus, Carolo Cerro and D.D. Petrus Granciscus de Rubeis; housed in a handsome ornately gilt-tooled morocco binder with faded silk ties (surface loss to gilding and leather from worm damage; 8 3/4 x 6 in.
