Manuscript from the 19th century, anonymous, composed of 28 leaves written on both sides (except for the first and last leaves written on the front only) in a beautiful italic handwriting of the period.

Contains a genealogical history of the Bremond d'Ars family.

Precious document on this surviving family of French nobility originating from Saintonge, most of the manuscripts concerning it having been destroyed during the fire of the castle of Tonnay-Charente or dispersed during the revolution of 93 (according to the author of this text) .

The last three leaves list the alliances, followed by the description of the coat of arms and the family motto.

Period binding, cardboard (bradel) . Mute spine, cold stamped composition on the boards. Tears on the back towards the headpieces. Solid volume. Clean interior.
