Maòli - Maurizio Fardo - Vase - Aluminium
Square base vase in aluminum also suitable as a centerpiece and as a container for any object. Its minimal and natural design makes it suitable for placing in any context.
\r
Maòli aluminum is obtained using all the waste that arrives in Madagascar from all over the world. Everything is reclaimed and then cast into the earth with the Staffa Matta method which was used in Europe about forty years ago. Stirrup earth casting is a very ancient process, which requires time, patience and a certain amount of experience and skill in manipulating the materials. An entirely manual process. At the end of the production cycle, the pieces that emerge from the casting are brushed and smoothed until they reach the characteristic silver color that makes Maòli aluminum so particular. The resulting objects summarize all the experience and passion for the work of people who today are becoming increasingly rare and precious.
