Condition Report:
Very good condition overall for an object of this age and type. Minor marks, nicks, scratches, and abrasions. As visible, stable age cracks throughout. A few surface dents. One side and some of the underside of the mallet with flaws inherent to the material, as visible in the secondary online catalogue illustration. Old chip to the base of the piece. Very fine aged patina.
