This strongly engraved Revolutionary War map was designed to familiarize the magazine's readers with the location of the hostilities in the American War. It illustrates the region of the Hudson and Delaware Rivers and the marches of the armies under the Generals Howe, Clinton, and Burgoyne. Light offsetting with an old tape stain southeast of Lake Ontario from tape on the verso that has been removed and archivally reinforced. There is an archivally repaired 1" tear at right and the right margin has been replaced with old paper.
