Maralunga Sofa by Vico Magistretti for Cassina

Wonderful two-seat sofa designed by Vico Magistretti for the Cassina and Busnelli factory in the 1970s. The Maralunga sofa was covered entirely in light beige leather. With warm and reassuring shapes, where the possibility of movement of the backrest, the soft appearance and padding enhance the comfort giving rise to multiple interpretations.The sofa by Vico Magistretti is the first edition of the famous Maralunga, known for its rabbit ear backrest, that is adjustable at will. In fact, the backrest being curved through an internal mechanism is easily adjustable upwards to allow the guest to rest his head. The feet are round and made of walnut wood.
