Marc Chagall
Vintage ballpoint signature, "Marc Chagall, 1963,” on an off-white 7.75 x 10 guestbook page, which is also signed by United States Army general Lyman Lemnitzer and freelance photojournalist Sean Flynn, the son of actor Errol Flynn, who draws a sketch of an elephant's backside. The reverse of the page is signed by French journalist Pierre Lazareff, Soviet violinist Leonid Kogan, and Greek pianist Vasso Devetzi. In fine condition. While Chagall remains desirable in his own right, the presence of the uncommon Flynn, who in 1970 was captured in Cambodia by communist guerillas and was never seen alive again, makes this a decidedly unique guestbook page.
