Marc Davis Documents Group of 7 (Walt Disney, c. 1930-40s). Here is an outstanding set of four fascinating personal documents that belonged to one of Walt’s Nine Old Men and Disney Legend, Mark Davis (1913 – 2000). Primarily feature is a correspondence exchange with four letters. Summoned to serve as a Petit Juror on August 18, 1969, Marc writes back on WED stationery, explaining that he cannot participate since he is working on the development of "The Magic Kingdom," and even attaches a letter from Robert K. Millard, personnel manager of WED enterprises. The lot also includes the letter from the deputy clerk confirming that his request has been accepted and two envelopes from the exchange. This lot also includes an option letter on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs stationery, dated January 27, 1955, and one dated July 20, 1955, both signed by Marc Davis, as well as a brief of minutes from the Screen Cartoonist meeting on February 21, 1945, featuring ink sketches on the back, attributed to Marc. The documents overall show light handling and edge wear, with some presenting fold creases and crumpling. In Good to Very Good condition.
