Margherita Burgener Aquamarine and diamond pendent necklace

The aquamarine stated to weigh 218.70 carats to a mount accented by brilliant-cut diamonds, on multiple rows of cable-link chains, to spacers accented by single-cut diamonds, length approximately 490mm, signed Margherita Burgener, Italian maker's and assay marks for gold.

Signed Margherita Burgener, stamped Made in Italy and Italy. Inscribed 'Aquamarine ct 218.70' and 'Diamond ct 3.67'. Italian maker's marks. Italian assay marks and stamped 750 and 18Kt for 18 carat gold. Aquamarine greenish blue of medium light saturation, mostly eye-clean, minor chips and nicks to the girdle. Diamonds stated to weigh a total of 3.67 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as graded in the mount. Minor scratches to the metal consistent with normal wear. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 84 grams
