One of the five works in the series "Hydrotherapy", which was created for the project "Informational detox". (Free gallery, Stary Oskol, 2020). The trip to Seliger during the pandemic helped me to restore the lost balance, gave me back the inspiration and joy of a calm, contemplative, unhurried life. The work has a certificate of authenticity. Framed in the glass.

Maria Golovkina is an interdisciplinary artist, teacher, and member of the Union of Designers of Russia. Lives and works in Tula. She has a higher art education in the specialty "graphic design" and studied contemporary art at the British Higher School of Design. In her artistic practice, she explores the phenomenon of memory, observes the manifestations of the past in the present. Works with the theme of identity, drawing inspiration and images from family mythology. She pays attention to drawing in the open air by graphic techniques, focusing on the interaction of the chaotic and structural, extracting movement and texture from nature, and moving towards the manifestation of the unexplained and abstract. She experiments with various materials creates original techniques in the search for an expressive plastic language. Participated in international and Russian exhibitions and competitions. Some of them: "The Muse must Work", Artmuza Gallery, St. Petersburg, 2019; "Time, Forward!", New Tretyakov Gallery, 2020; "Mastering Spaces", Khodynka Gallery, Moscow, 2020; "Signs of Life", Tula Historical and Architectural Museum, 2020; "L' Arte siMostra", Palazzo Ferrajoli, Rome (2020); "Migranto: a Personal Trajectory", Bogorodskoe Gallery, Moscow, 2020; "Po the other side of Tula", The Machine Tool Museum, industrial cluster "Oktava", Tula, 2020, "Home Sweet Home", Zverev Center for Contemporary Art, Moscow, 2021; personal exhibition "Verkhoglyadye", Stary Oskol, 2021. Her works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
