Marilyn Monroe and Joe Dimaggio Autographs & Framed Photo
Here is an incredibly rare offering with great provenance. A rare early Marilyn Monroe autograph within the first years of being in the film. This autograph was an in-person autograph on June 14, 1949, in Rockford Illinois. The autograph is in pencil on the back of the Love Happy advertisement. The original owner signed an affidavit of the event which is somewhat humorous to think that she wanted the Marx Brothers autographs because they were the Big Stars but only got Marilyn Monroe. Included are a few Rockford newspaper clippings from the day of the event that Marilyn Monroe signed. Included is a nicely framed photo of Marilyn Monroe and Joe Dimaggio with their autographs of the two. The Joe Dimaggio was an in-person autograph in the 1990's with the photo as provenance. The back of the frame shows what is on the reverse of Miss Monroes autograph. Authenticity is guaranteed.
