Mariners Telescope by Dollond of London

Leather covered ships spyglass with engraved focal tube with maker's name Dollond of London. There is a panel set under the leather showing merchant ship signal flags. The legend plate is titled 'Flags and pendants in merchant service". Flags includes "Man of war" and "Merchantman" and Union Jacks at the top along with thirty two more signal flags. A very fine nautical antique with great optics. Two draw scope, sun shade also. 29"H x 3"D. 2 lbs.
