Franzini Mario was born in Turin on 24 July 1942 and passed away in 2019

From a very young age he revealed a particular predisposition for drawing; over the years he has become increasingly closer to "colour" and has autonomously, in the broadest sense of the term, forged a completely personal pictorial language which, leaving aside the dogmatism of the "sign", is fully achieved through free and essential tonal sequences, flowing into effective figurative "constructions". Then disappointed by the commercial world of art, he stopped participating in exhibitions and group shows, but he did not stop loving painting with his own style that recalls the great impressionists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

His presence in some national and international auctions is noteworthy, the penultimate in 2019 in Canada, the latest on Catawiki with over 45 works sold.

Sold with a custom-made handmade frame for a solo exhibition in 2010 in the "Arkadia Gallery" in Turin and, in a collective exhibition in 2018 at Area 12 Shopping Center, Juventus Stadium in Turin.

It is worth noting the presence, particularly on the left, of some grooves that originate from the support on which Franzini painted, not caring, as a true rebellious artist, about the state of the background!
