Mario Gachet (Turin, 1879 - Castigliole Torinese, 1981) , Landscape, oil on pressed cardboard, 34. 5 x 44. 5 cm, dimensions including the frame 55. 5 x 45 cm, signed and dated 1922 lower right.
An ever-present name in Piedmontese painting collections of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Mario Gachet trained in Turin with the great master Vittorio Cavalleri and became one of the animators of the artistic scene of Turin at the time. He dedicates himself to both landscape and still life, always obtaining the favor of the contemporary public.
The work in question is a brilliant example of his landscape production.
The work is in excellent condition with natural signs of aging due to its age.
