[ translate ]

\Artist: Mario Schifano (1934-1998)
Technique: Silkscreen / Serigraph\Signature: Hand signed
Artist: Mario Schifano. Title: untitled. Technique: highly tactile enamel serigraph. Size: 50 x 70 cm. Year: 1997. Hand-signed by the master. Embossed stamp of Schifano’s signature. Certificate of authenticity. Condition: excellent. Highly tactile enamel serigraph with several colour transitions with inserts of applied paper (collage) , made in 1997. This work is clearly a reference to one of his closest friends with whom he made the history of painting in Piazza del Popolo in Rome. The plane is in fact one of the most representative themes of the works by master Franco Angeli who, together with Tano Festa and precisely Mario Schifano, managed to outline the history of the 1970s contemporary art with their Italian Pop Art. It belongs to a series of graphic works more representative of the master’s production, that summarise the most brilliant and iconic works of his entire career. This series has never been catalogued because his life ended shortly after. Image size: 70 x 50 cm. Hand-signed with embossed stamp of Mario Schifano’s signature on bottom right. Edition on bottom left. Certificate of authenticity (C. O. A.) included. It’s presumably one of the last works by the master, because his life ended shortly after. The number may vary but the quality and features of the work are guaranteed. Shipping via express courier with tracking code. Flat packaging between two rigid supports.
