Spon) at rear, contemporary maroon half morocco, spine with recent gilt-lettered label, spine and tops of boards a little faded, extremities lightly rubbed, 8vo (Quantity: 1) George Bogle led the first British mission to Tibet in 1774, and Manning was the first Englishman to visit Lhasa in 1811.
