Marlboro Neon Advertising Sign in Acrylic Case Circa 1997

A vintage Marlboro cigarette neon advertising sign featuring red neon script text. The design includes a white neon cigarette graphic with rising smoke trails and a red circular glowing tip to the left, along with a yellow and white neon graphic of a cigarette pack or filter tip at the upper right. The neon elements are mounted within a two-part, smoke-colored translucent acrylic housing designed for wall mounting. A white rectangular label on the lower front of the case is printed with a Surgeon General's Warning reading SURGEON GENERAL'S WARNING: Cigarette Smoke Contains Carbon Monoxide. The internal transformer bears a white and green adhesive label from Everbrite Neon of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which includes a date of MAY 01 1997 and electrical specifications of 120V 60Hz 70W 1AMP. A silver adhesive label from Underwriters Laboratories Inc. is present, marked ELECTRIC SIGN NO BE-252346. A secondary manufacturer sticker reads PHILIP MORRIS, USA MARLBORO CIGARETTE NEON POS #02498 LA622900.
