This exclusive prototype fountain pen, made of Cameo, Gold, Mother of Pearl, Onyx, Silver, was never mass produced. Each of these pens is handcrafted. On the silver barrel, the face of Medusa (in cameo) is sculpted by hand (in duplicate) , a figure from Greek mythology who had the power to petrify anyone who met her gaze. An onyx stone frame frames Medusa's face. Gold threads surround mother-of-pearl details. The cap is in black resin with a lapis effect. The clip and other details are made of silver. At the top of the hood, the face of Medusa (always in cameo) is found in high relief.
Being a unique prototype, this pen represents a collector's item sought after by enthusiasts of high-end writing instruments.
