The Risorgimento was the political and social movement that agglomerated several states of the Italian peninsula into the single state of Italy in the 19th century. On 17 March 1861 Vittorio Emanuele II was proclaimed King of Italy. Marlen honors this important historical period in the same year as the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, with a limited edition dedicated to the Risorgimento.
This fountain pen was made of Italian resin, with large bands decorated in bas-relief in 925° silver, reproducing the meeting between Giuseppe Garibaldi and Vittorio Emanuele. The clip is always in 925 silver, with a bronze medallion depicting the shape of Italy.
