Condition Report:
The work was inspected in its frame and it was not possible to see the reverse. The edges are unevenly cut. Tiny tears are present on the left outer edge.
The sheet is slightly wavy. This work is in overall very good condition.

South African artist based in the Netherlands.
The owner commissioned Marlene Dumas in 1987 to make lithographs to accompany Pier Paolo Pasolini's poem "Le Ceneri di Gramsci".
Marlene then drew a head on one of the lithographs with statement by Dracula "To be dead to be really dead, it must be glorious."

En 1987, le propriétaire a demandé à Marlene Dumas de réaliser des lithographies pour accompagner le poème de Pier Paolo Pasolini "Le Ceneri di Gramsci".
Marlene a ensuite dessiné une tête sur l'une des lithographies avec la suivante déclaration de Dracula : "To be dead to be really dead, it must be glorious".
