Marlin Model 336 S C lever action carbine

Marlin Model 336 S C lever action carbine in 35 REM. The Micro-Groove bright barrel bore measures 20'' with a 15'' magazine. The stock and forearm have been checkered, which appears to be a later addition, and comes with sling swivel attachment screw ends. The metal has some light handling wear, and the wood is in very good plus condition. The top is tapped for a scope; the screws are missing. This is a classic woods deer and black bear rifle.
