Marsa, I Nyoman (b. 1952) Legong Dancers

Legong is a group of classical Balinese dances that have a very complex vocabulary of movement. It is believed that the word Legong comes from the word "leg" which means flexible or flexible dance movements and "gong" which means gamelan. Combined, the Legong signifies flexible dance movements within the tones of the gamelan music.
