This mark was used on toys exported from Germany between 1945 and 1949 when U.S. allies occupying controlled territories would only permit export of items with a marking showing the item was approved by the U.S. for export. Marked, "Made in U.S. Zone Germany", at front chest of turkey bodies. Marked, "Ges Geschutzt" (legally protected), at front chest of turkey bodies. 4.5" x 6" x 5". From the Darryl Silver Collection.
