Mary Shepard is a professional artist working in watercolor, oil and acrylic. Mary was born and raised in southern New Mexico. Growing up in this land of many contrasts helped her develop an appreciation and awareness of light, color and wide open spaces. She graduated with a BFA in Interior Design from the University of North Texas in Denton and worked as a commercial Interior designer for 20 years. Her paintings have been accepted into the juried shows of the Bosque Conservatory, Midwest Watercolor Society, The Texas Watercolor Society, The Society of Watercolor Artists-Ft Worth and Watercolor Art Society Houston. She received first place awards in watercolor in the River Art Show Juried Exhibitions and The New Braunfels Art League juried Art Fest. She exhibited in the San Antonio Kiwanis Invitational juried show for fourteen years and had a one year -one person show at the Palacio Del Rio Hilton, San Antonio. Some of her favorite subjects are River Walk scenes, prickly pear cactus, landscapes and old vehicles. Dimensions:
