Mascagni (Pietro)
Autograph letter signed ('P.Mascagni') to his colleague and friend Teofilo De Angelis, in Italian, regarding the opera 'Lodoletta'. Mascagni mentioned that there have already been eight sold out representations of the Lodoletta in Livorno and more are planned in La Spezia. However, the management wishes to hold more performances of the opera and they are seeking a singer who can replace "la Bellinciani".
