Magnificent Maserati 228 from 1988, perfectly maintained from new and can be used daily.

The 228 is equipped with 2 doors and a 2. 8l V6 turbo injection engine (hence its name "228") , rear-wheel drive, 5 speeds. This is a very rare model: only 469 examples built between 1986 and 1992. Luxurious and sporty vehicle, in Rifle Gray Metallic color with a light beige leather interior and wood finishes.

History:
The vehicle was delivered new to Sweden in 1988 and spent most of its life in this country, only going out in good weather and sleeping dry.

This exemplar was used very regularly between 1988 and 2012 before changing ownership and being presented in the collection from 2012 to 2022.

In 2022, wishing to use it on a daily basis again, the Maserati underwent a complete overhaul, notably mechanical with change of engine seals, water and air hoses, a new water pump, engine belts, spark plugs, air filter, brake pads and check of the entire braking system, radiators, gearbox, rear axle, new clutch, differential seals, strut bar cushion, wheel geometry.

Arriving in Germany in 2023, it underwent a strict TÜV inspection and was registered as a historic vehicle (over 30 years old and original) and drives very regularly, several times a week.

Bodywork:
The chassis, paint, underneath are in very good condition.
The paint is very shiny, the bodywork is mostly clean except for a small spot of oxidation at the engine hood (see photo) .

The only small paint defect that can be seen is a slight impact of gravel on the thickness of the hood above a headlight (a touch-up was applied, barely visible) .

Mechanical :
It starts very well, drives, shifts and brakes perfectly.
There is nothing to plan mechanically, the maintenance and repairs carried out in 2022 at 92,600 km make it perfect for daily use.

Interior:
Equipped with light beige leather, it appears almost new, particularly for the rear seats, door protections and dashboard.
Wear due to vehicle use may be visible on the driver's seat and the central elbow support.
The floor mats and carpet are like new.
The lamps, windows, electric seats, central electronic console, various meters, radio, automatic antenna work perfectly.
In the trunk you will find the original tool kit, a spare wheel and accessories for changing the wheel.
