Maserati - 228 - 1992

[ translate ]

The Maserati 228 was a two-door GT coupe in the Biturbo range. This luxurious version aimed at the same market of the large Maserati GTs of the past, such as the 3500 GT and the Mexico.
\r
The Maserati 228 was presented in 1986 at the Turin Motor Show. The car stood on the longer wheelbase chassis of the Biturbo sedans and was powered by the 2. 8L V6 engine with injection and three valves per cylinder. A four-speed automatic transmission was available as an option. The 228 was longer and wider than the two-door Biturbos and the interior was finished with more luxury.
\r
This Maserati 228 was originally delivered in the Netherlands.
On 07-01-1992 it was delivered to the first owner by Hessing De Bilt in the Netherlands.
The Maserati has always been maintained by specialists.
It is MOT approved until 12-03-2026.
\r
The Maserati has been standing still for 10 years, it is advisable to have it serviced and install new tires before using the car.
The car is otherwise in good driving condition.
The Maserati is free of leaks.
There is rust formation under the paint on the front of the hood, and above the left taillight as seen in the photos.
\r
Furthermore, the car has minor signs of wear consistent with the age of the car and a small crack in the edge of the windshield, but nothing serious.
The car has probably never had bodywork damage and no paintwork has ever been done.
\r
The interior is in exceptionally beautiful condition. The leather is still in good condition, as are the Alcantara parts.
\r
There is a good spare parts supply.
Parts for the Maserati 228 are already available at europares. co. uk, among others.
