Massive Indus Valley Seal with Armed Cross

3rd millennium BC. A large bronze discoid stamp seal with openwork design of ?-shaped arms within a segmented border, rectangular loop to the reverse. 109 grams, 72mm (3"). The Signo collection, the property of a West London businessman, formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s; collection number 224; academically researched and catalogued by the late Professor Lambert in the early 1990s.
